Gathering Strength Community Services Society Board of Directors 

Gathering Strength Community Services Society is dedicated to improving the lives of Indigenous Peoples by sharing customs, traditions, and teachings while focusing on Truth and Reconciliation. The organization engages with the community for planning, advocates for youth and families, and offers project management services in areas like housing, restorative justice, and emergency planning. They provide an introduction to traditional teachings and cultural practices, facilitating hands-on experiences such as harvesting traditional medicines, drum making, singing, carving, and preserving traditional foods with Elders.

Tim Taylor: Tim offers years of experience in low income housing projects and is passionate in providing; guidance and mentorship to fulfill the needs of the society.

Daphne Harry: Is a community advocate for women or youth in need.  Daphne has lived with HIV for over 20 years and is always willing to share her story and the challenges she has had for housing and health needs.  Daphne is always sharing how healing through traditional teachings and cultural practices is important.

Karen Harry: Has worked in Indigenous communities over 40 years and completed numerous housing and infrastructure projects, from planning to occupancy.  A survivor of Residential and Day schools who is a strong advocate for health and wellness.  Karen has a strong desire to continue teaching, advocating and implementing health and wellness plans working alongside local, provincial and national governments.
